Coruscant is the center of the New Republic. Far thousands of years it has been covered in kilometers thick layer of pure urbanized cityscape. Many events of the galaxy have taken place here.

Purged from the otherwise complete Jedi Archives is all evidence of the mysterious world of Kamino. A lonely world beyond the Outer Rim and just south of the Rishi Maze, few could have predicted that Kamino would become a key contributor to a massive shift in political power in the waning days of the Republic.

Long ago, the Sith were a pround race of beings but have since been tainted by the Dark Jedi. No longer do the race of Sith exist, but their ideals live on, tormenting an already troubled galaxy. The Sith Lords are fewer now, but still as deadly. Korriban acts as their base and homeworld, and gives off a dark feeling in the Force.

A desert world, with asteroid belt encircling the planet in a halo-like orbit. Thousands of unusual rock formations dot the desert, some of which are used as colonies by the Geonosians.

A volcanic planet. Mustafar is very backwater. Nowadays many covert gangs and secret societies keep their headquarters on this firey world.

A world of temperate rainforests. Parts of the planet's crust are very soft and eventually become sinkholes kilometers deep. Utapau is not a very famous place, it is a simple planet going along quietly in the galaxy.

A forest world much like that of Kashyyk. Ewoks live all over this world, along with many mysterious creatures.

Kilometer tall trees cover Kashyyyk but bare in some areas. Where the trees reach high the more immense the ecosystem. Wookies maake their homes high in the trees of Kashyyyk and also near the ocean shores.

Despite being well within the borders of the Old Republic, and having been on official registries for more than 300 years, the planet Myrkr has been steadfastly avoided by the Jedi Knights. The reason for this distance nearly sealed the fate of the New Republic when exploited by the Imperial mastermind, Grand Admiral Thrawn.

An idyllic world close to the border of the Outer Rim Territories, Naboo is inhabited by peaceful humans known as the Naboo, and an indigenous species of intelligent amphibians called the Gungans.

A twisted mirroring of the planet-encasing cities of Coruscant, Nar Shaddaa is the Huttese name for the over-urbanized planetoid known commonly as the Smugglers' Moon.

The Old Republic and the Empire that supplanted it paid very little attention to the remote planet Tatooine. Ironically, beings that called this dusty world home would be influential in bringing down both galactic governments.

A remote world that became a focal point in galactic history, Yavin 4 is a jungle moon orbiting the gas giant of Yavin. Its steamy jungle canopy and abandoned native temples formed the perfect hiding place for an early Alliance base. The native Massassi had long been extinct by the time General Dodonna's Rebel forces erected a hidden fortress on the moon.

Secluded from Galactic turmoil by its location in a little-visited sector of space, Bespin is an astrophysical rarity. An immense gas giant surrounded by a number of moons, the planet contains a band of habitable atmosphere among its endless clouds.

A planet in the Corellian sector, it was colonized by the Hutts and is the birthplace of Jabba the Hutt. The name "Nal Hutta" means "glorious jewel" in Huttese, which described its setting near a radioactive nebula.

Hoth is the sixth planet in the remote system of the same name. It is a world of snow and ice, surrounded by numerous moons. Small meteorites that have wandered away from a nearby asteroid field constantly pelt Hoth's icy surface. This icy world has developed a number of indigenous lifeforms, including the wampa ice creature, and the tauntaun.

Seen from space, the planet Mon Calamari appears as a tranquil deep blue orb with few landmasses. Despite the inherently peaceful nature of the native species that shares its name with the world, the endless oceans have been stained by bloody war on many occasions.
