OOC: Just because you like to reference to the saga doesn't mean you have to think that that's the only possible event that happened. It's not like the plot on this board is going to Lucasfilm so we could publish it you know. We could just make things up as we go along. And I'm not trying to take the piss out of anyone and I'm sorry if I insulted you in any way, but we don't have to play by the book at all times.
IC: Narhalus saw the assassin droid advance towards him from the air as melle blades sprouted out of its arms as if it were a man taking out knives from his belt. But it was a machine after all, and a machine was nothing compared to the power of the Force. It was like a mouse challenging a rhinocerous. The droid was there simply to be squashed by the superior power of the Sith Lord, no more than a distraction from the main stream of events taking place here. Foolish droid, thought Narhalus, it knows what kind of trouble he's getting its getting into. Narhalus remembered the stories his master had told him about the droid armies that fought against the Republic during the Clone Wars, long before his time. The Republic had won mainly for two reasons: Organization of the Clone Army and poor Artificial Intelligence of the Droid Army. The battle droids were easy for the Clones to pick off because they were essentially stupid. Now, it seemed nothing had changed when he saw this assassin droid charge at him in a hopeless attempt to destroy him.
Narhalus stepped to the side to dodge the blades, slicing through the air relentlessly like scythes. Those weapons were powerful, no doubt, and could have been even more so if handled by the right hands, but the droid was only a droid, and it couldn't handle such weapons with skill and precision. Only two types of droids could have, perhaps, and those were the deceased General Grievous and his Magna Guards, but they were now long gone, and with them, the days when droids were a match for Jedi Knights or Sith Lords in melee combat. Grievous especially, was exceptional, originally a sentient being from Kaleesh, saved after a fatal incident by the Muuns, who had given him the armor plating and life support systems. Putting his mind back to the fight the assassin picked with him, Narhalus flipped right over the droid as it slid to try and catch him off his feet. He was part successful, for Narhalus was off his feet, but he wasn't on the ground. He was right above him, hands pointing downwards to the droid, reaching out to the Force as he closed his eyes, letting himself flow in the endless sea of the mystic energy field. He could now see things his eyes wouldn't show, his senses 100 times keener as he concentrated on stopping the movement of the particles making the metal plating, hoping to make their temperature drop dramatically to absolute zero, completely freezing it.
