Amaru matched the rat attack for attack but couldnt get an opening.

He stepped it up a notch, going even faster than before. It appeared his ninty years of service to the Jedi paid off, as he could see he was clearly the better swordsman.
He moved one blade to the left, then the other to the right, then jumped over the Sith lord and stabbed backwards, then he was to the left, then the right...his blades surrounded Amaru in deadly green and purple flame.

Amaru was growing tired of this foolish rat, he easily matched it, but it was too small to leave an opening wide enough to hit fully.
