Soru walked along the platform next to his former master, the Wookie Jedi called Jasufar. For years, Soru had soent time training here and the jungles of Kashyyyk. The jungle floors may have been a dangerous training ground for any Jedi, but Soru was used to the worst, to physical pain and suffering. In the years that had gone by, Soru had become a powerful blademaster and innovative with the uses of the Force. While many Jedi and Sith tried to create new and powerful moves, Soru throughly believed the tride and true movements were the most powerful in lightsaber combat. The same went for Force Usage. The traditional methods were always the best.
The two Jedi walked in silence throughout the walkways until Jasufar finally broke the silence. "You have grown strong, Soru, but you are yet to become a full Jedi." Soru knew this full well. While he was as good as any Jedi out there, he still had to go through the trials to become a Knight. It was an essential step in the life of a Jedi, the final task for any Padawan. What came next would be the arduous road to mastership. While Jasufar had always said it is hard to become a knight, it is much harder to become a master. A Knight who aims towards this must not only know how to guide a youngling through the path of a Padawan, but he must also know himself, know his own mistakes and correct them to teach his student as best he could. "I know, master," Soru replied, "but I don't fee ready for such a task. I am afraid of what I will find out there, in the wide galaxy." Jasufar could see the uncertainty in Soru's expression, but he felt sure that out there, Soru would learn how to fend dor himself. Here on Kashyyyk, Soru could not gain any wisdom of the universe. Only if he travels offworld will he be able to know what it truly feels like to be a Jedi. "I think you are ready, Soru," Jasufar said, "and that you can handle any hardship that will come your way in the near future. Go, young one, and show me you are worthy of the rank of Jedi Knight."
Hours later, Soru was boarding a starfighter, a very old model of a Z-95 Headhunter. The young Jedi did not know where he would go after this, but he was certain that eventually, he would find his way. However, Soru was sure he wouldn't do it alone. He needed help, and that would be the first thing he was going to look for out there.
