Jag nodded, and for some reason started to lean in to kiss her, but stopped. He couldn't, but he wanted to, however his mind restricted him. Instead he nodded again and replied.
"Yeah, I know we will."

He held the kiss for a long time, losing track of time, but only knowing that he wanted to ease her pain. Of course he found himself falling for her quickly. |

Suddenly taken back by his kiss...Kara couldnt stop..she had fallen for him..in every way, from the moment she met him..even under those circumstances...She kissed him back deeply...her hand softly touching his face...

Jag felt horrible that he needed to break the kiss, but eventually he did. When he looked back into her beautiful face, something in him longed for her and wanted her in every possible way. However, he tried to hide those feelings the best he could.

Jag needed to come up with an excuse, and fast. He was surprised when he almost immediately answered.
"Kara, I can't, I still haven't gotten over the fact that your Imperial and I'm New Republic. It isn't you, it's just that the Empire destroyed my entire homeworld, killed my entire family, and seperated me from my brother."
He knew it was like a dagger, but he needed to do something to quell his feelings, even if it meant lying.
