Keera got down on her knees before Troy and look up in his eyes. "I don't wanna hide either,I love you more than llife itself. I would die for you. But I promised my father, we wouldn't let anything separate us. Not like it did my mother and he did. He asked that we either BOTH leave, or both stay. You have worked so hard to get where you are, I can't and won't ask you to give it up for me."
Troy sighs and bends over to help her up. "We better come out of the airlock... I think our masters are waiting for us."

Keera's heart sank, she felt so confused as to what think...do...he seemed to be giving her mixed signals...
Keera rose and without saying anything further to him she left the air lock and went to her father. She sat quietly off to the side... avoiding eye contact with anyone.
Troy was confused as well. ::I told her she's the only thing I cared about... that I would willingly give up the order for her. Why does she want to keep us secret? To help me or herself? She's the one that doesn't want to give up the order.::
He walks out behind Keera and sees how she doesn't make eye contact with anyone. He puts a hand up to the ring she gave him. ::She's ashamed of us!::
He sits on the opposite side of the huge cabin from Keera, feeling hurt. ::How can she make love to me when she's ashamed of me?::
Kavin blinks as he sees the two of them go to opposite sides of the cabin. He walks over to Keera and sits by her. He placed a hand gently on her shoulder as he speaks softly. "We'll be home soon, Lala. I called Miri, and she's going to have a nice warm dinner waiting for us, and we had a small bacta tank delivered home so you can heal the rest of the way there."
Lala nodded..."Thankyou ..father"..she responded in a quiet voice,her hand went up to the chain Troy gave her. She glanced up and saw him across from her looking as bewildered as she felt.
::Why can't he see..Im doing this for him...I don't want us to be a secret...I love him, id marry him tonight if I could. I wonder if he's having second thoughts about
us....was I just another girl for him to sleep with??::
Keera stared at him,a sadness and softness in her eyes...
Troy felt her eyes on him, and he looked across the room at her. As he made eye contact with her, he felt drawn to her. He closed his eyes as he felt a pain in his chest. He drew his knees up to his chest and put his arms around them, lowering his head on top of the knees. ::My heart is being torn to pieces!::

Keera saw him put up a wall..and felt his frustration.. she thought to FM him.
FM::Troy..what can I say...what can I do to make it better? I love you. Please don't push me Away..don't do this to us, what do you want from me?::
The pain in Troy's chest eased as he heard Keera's force message. He opened his eyes and looked over at her. Slowly, he stood and walked over to her. He looked at his master... the father of the woman he loved and hoped one day would be his wife. "Sir, I need to ask permission of you... I mean I love your daughter with all my heart, may I have Keera's hand in marriage?" He blushes, feeling really awkward, since he'd already asked Keera to marry him... and made love to her twice. ::Did I just ask it correctly?::
Kavin stands and locks eyes with Troy for a brief moment. Then he looks down at Keera. "Is this what you wish, Keera?"
Keera looked at her father and back at Troy...she kept her eyes on his as she answered her father in a very sure tone.
"Yes..yes..more than anything. I love him with everything I am."

Kavin smiles gently. "I sense the two of you have quite a bit to work out before you get married. I give my permission on the condition you work those out beforehand. You can't go into marriage without an understanding between you. Love is wonderful, but without faith in each other, it won't work."
He takes one of Troy's hands, and one of Keera's and places their hands together and walks off, leaving the two to talk.
"Thank you, sir." Troy says respectfully as his master and future father-in-law walks away. He looks down at Keera and smiles as he sits next to her. He kisses her hand.
"I... am so sorry, Keera. I love you so much... it hurts when..." He swallows, having trouble saying how he feels in his heart. He's afraid to tell her the feelings that made him sit away from her. Afraid it'd drive her away from him.
Keera picked up on his feelings and thoughts.."I am not ashamed of you, or us. I Love you way too much. I am proud to be with you and be your lover. Please never feel that way"
"Then why do you want to keep us secret? If we came out about it together, the council will either kick us both out or let us both stay... either way we'd be together. That's all I really care about. Us being together. And I don't want to live a lie!"

"I-I agree...I don't want to live that lie either. Lets then tell them. We will do this together. If they turn us away...at least we will be together. My father went to council and just told them...they had known, all along..and have accepted it.."
She smiled softly at him.
"I can't be without you. You are, my heart."
Troy pulls Keera into a hug and buries his face in her hair. He weeps with joy, unable to say anything, but FM's her: ~~You have made me the happiest man alive!~~

"It will always be..from now on....you and I..." Keera closes her eyes and rests her head on his shoulder.
Troy grins as he brushes his lips against her ear and whispers, "Wanna go back into the airlock?"
Keera whispers back...."I..do actually"
She giggled softly.
Just as Troy was about to get up and take Keera back to the airlock, he feels a
shift in the flight of the transport.
"We're now landing in Theed." The pilot announced over the loudspeaker.
Troy looks at Keera and rolls his eyes.

Kavin and Miri board the ship and take their seats. Kavin holds Miri's hand as they take off for Corruscant.
