Viper Mk.VII (Tycho's Starfighter)

The Colonial inc. Viper mk.VII is one of two prototypes. (The other was destroied when pirates tried to capture it.) Its thrust to weight ratio is so high, that when combined with the advanced thrusters, the Viper can pull menuvers that can put a TIE Defender to shame. The viper has three R-45 "Starchaser" engines that push it faster than an A-wing and a Class One hyperdrive. For weapons, the Viper has two heavy laser cannons equaling the X-Wings four lasers in power. It also has two concussion missle launcers giving the ship some extra punch. Its armor is a breed of microfused star destroyer armor, which gives it an amazingly stronger hull than even the E-Wing. Finally, the ship's deflector shield is the same as the ones utilized on X-Wings. Because of advanced menuvers that could kill the pilot, the Viper utilizes highly advanced internal dampaners and all its avionics are state of the art. finally, the starfighter uses fly by wire technology and HOTAS (hands on throtle and stick).
